Already an accomplished improv comedian, Betty Smithsonian started doing stand-up in 2016. A regular at the Punchline in Philadelphia, Smithsonian is a founder of the Bechdel Test Fest and the Free Fringe Philly and runs the Nacho Mic open mic. She was named the Best of Philly Up-and-Coming Comedian in 2019 by Philadelphia Magazine.
